HI, I’M RORY
I’m a wedding photographer based in Atlanta & Athens Georgia, and I’ve been documenting weddings for over 10 years now.
My approach is primarily hands off and photojournalistic - I chase after the magic in real, unscripted moments. Capturing the convergence of fleeting moments with the perfect light & composition is what makes a powerful image - and it’s the curation of these moments where the storytelling happens. That said, your wedding day unfolds in different chapters, and some (like portraits of you two) call for a little more direction. I’m there to provide it in a way that feels comfortable and makes you look great. I’m there for more than that too! I’m there to help keep the train running smoothly (and on time!) and to shepherd you through one of the most meaningful days of your life with warmth, care, and experience.
A little more about me:
I spent 7 years living in Boston where I developed a serious Oyster addiction.
My wife & I have an elementary school aged daughter who keeps life full of excitement, wonder, and growth.
Besides many years of real world experience at weddings & events - I also have a formal college degree (BA) in photography.
